About Mollie
Mollie Rogers was born in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Raised by two teachers, Mollie spent her childhood reading lots of books and playing in the woods, building forts and her imagination.
Mollie graduated from Western Carolina University with degrees in professional writing and history. She writes fiction for young readers, particularly contemporary young adult and middle grade adventure.
There’s nothing Mollie loves more than a well-told story. An organ transplant recipient and a cancer survivor, she knows firsthand how the right book can brighten up life’s darkest roads.
When Mollie isn’t writing, she’s wandering back and forth across her home state of North Carolina, from the coast to the mountains—hanging out in coffee shops, perusing bookstores, doing all the good hiking trails, and, of course, chasing down taco trucks.
